ELLSWORTH Diane Diane (Sprouse) Ellsworth passed away suddenly on Friday November 14th, 2008 at the age of 66 years young. Diane was born on July 25, 1942 in Calgary and spent her childhood growing up in Calgary or in the summers at the family cabin at Gull Lake. This is where she met her future husband Elmer. Diane and Elmer were married November 4, 1961. They lived in and around the Bentley and Rimbey areas until they moved to the family farm in 1970. Diane and Elmer farmed west of Bentley in the Lochart Valley until 1980. They moved to Bentley and resided there until Diane moved to Calgary in 2000. Diane has resided in a long term care home for the past eight years, with Camrose Bethany – Rosehaven being the last place of residence. Diane loved the outdoors, camping, travel, the arts and more specifically painting. She enjoyed bowling, curling and spending time with family and friends. Diane will be lovingly remembered by her one son, Allan Ellsworth of Strathmore, AB; daughter, Lorie (Greg) Nichols of Red Deer, AB; two grandchildren Aidan Joel, Seth Alexander as well as one brother Ken Sprouse of Calgary, AB. Diane was predeceased by her parents, Doris and Robert Sprouse of Calgary; her brother, Grant Sprouse of Calgary as well as one son, Brent Ellsworth of Rimbey, AB. A Private Funeral Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium. Memorial Donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association "Central Region", 5017 - 50th Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N 1S9.
