BROWN, Diane Janice
June 24, 1956 - May 12, 2017
It is with great sadness we announce Diane passed away peacefully at home Friday May 12. Diane will be lovingly remembered by her children Jennifer and Shane, her sister Sandra (Phil) and their children Deidre, Alyson and Dave and her long time best friend Vicky Pederson (Neil) and Family. Diane was predeceased by her parents Bill and Ethel Wythe and brother Don. Diane was born in Calgary but spent most of her adult life in Red Deer. Her fondest memories growing up were living in the country, developing a love of horses, boating with her family and learning to excel at slalom waterskiing. Later in life she developed a passion for golf to which she excelled at. Diane worked in the Courts and Legal Community for most of her career. After her lung transplant in 2010 she took early retirement and worked at two jobs she loved. She marshaled at a golf course in Sylvan Lake and worked for Safe Harbour advocating for those less fortunate.
A Celebration of Diane's Life will be held at Potters Hands Ministries, 5202 - 53 Ave., Red Deer on Thursday, May 18 at 1:00 p.m.
