POTTER

Diane M. (Green) Potter, wife of Dwayne Potter of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Hospital on Wednesday, July 13th, 2011 at the age of 59 years. Diane was born on March 16, 1952 at Stettler, Alberta. She was raised in the Byemoor area. Diane was the most loving and devoted wife and mother her family could ever hope for. She was like a rare jewel, and the love she felt in her heart for her husband and children shone more brightly than all the stars in heaven. Her entire life revolved around her family and watching her children grow up from babies to young adults, and then watching her grandchildren grow. They were her pride and her joy, and true fulfillment in life. Diane was just a beautiful wife and a classy Mom. Most of all, Diane will always be remembered for her huge heart, which was proven as her greatest strength especially during her final days. Diane will be forever cherished and lovingly remembered as a loyal wife, a confidant and friend, and the coolest Mom around, best known for her love, her support, and her black forest cake. Diane leaves to mourn her loss, her loving husband Dwayne of almost 38 years, and her treasured children… daughter Katrina (Ryan) Leisen of High River, Alberta; son Travis (Tonille) Potter of Red Deer; and her grandchildren - Peyton and Lauren Leisen, and Kaiden Hyggen. She will also be very sadly missed by her parents Bob and Eileen Green of Stettler; sister Deneen (Neil) Brown of Erskine, Alberta; and brother Dale (Dee) Green of Byemoor, Alberta.; as well as nieces and nephews - Danny and Daylon Brown, and Derek, Delaine & Dara Green. Also a host of very special friends, as well as co-workers, children and their families that she was involved with during her time at the Collicut Centre.
