DICKSON Mr. Jack Theodore Dickson of Red Deer passed away on Friday, June 24, 2005, at the age of 76. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his daughter, Vicky (John) Younie and her two children, Angie and Ian, his son, Don and his two children, Laura and Jen, his sister, Olga (Lloyd) Page, his brother, Harvey (Irene) Dickson, numerous beloved nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 46 years, Bea, his parents, his sisters, Mary and Anne, his granddaughter, Sarah, and his great-grandson, Austin. Jack was born in Veregin, Saskatchewan on March 11, 1929, and grew up in southwestern Saskatchewan. At the age of 18, Jack joined the RCAF, and for the next 34 years, served on numerous bases throughout Canada and the U.S.A. While stationed in Summerside, P.E.I., he met and married his beloved wife, Bea (Arsenault). He retired in 1982 with the rank of Master Warrant Officer. He was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus. Relatives and friends are invited to a Prayer Service which will be held at the Red Deer Funeral Home (6150 - 67 Street) on Monday, June 27, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sacred Heart Catholic Church (5508 - 48A Avenue) on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Alto-Reste Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial tributes can be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Cross Cancer Institute, (11560 University Ave., Edmonton, AB, T6G 1Z2).
