It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald (Don) Douglas Holloway. He passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 at his home in Red Deer with his wife by his side. Don was born June 11, 1932, in Port Blandford, Newfoundland. Don is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sylvia Holloway (Pollock).
Don proudly served in the Canadian Forces for 31 years from 1951 to 1982. Don was deployed to Korea in 1953 as part of the 59th Field Squadron Engineers and has always proudly represented the Korea veterans at Remembrance Services. Don's final posting at the time of his retirement was in Penhold.
