SCOTT, Donald Mr. Donald Joseph Scott beloved husband of Ruth Scott of Red Deer died suddenly on Thursday August 5, 2004 at the age of 64 years. His memory will be cherished by his three sons, Kyle, Corey (Buffy) and Greg, one daughter, Ruth (Ross Andras) and a granddaughter Nikki. He is also survived by brothers Ray, Clare, Michael and sisters Rita and Cathy as well as a large extended family, all of Peterborough, Ontario. He is predeceased by his brother John and sisters Helen, Olive and Marie. He was born in Douro, Ontario (a small town near Peterborough, Ontario) and grew up in the area. At the age of 16 he met his future wife and they were married 44 years. During this time he traveled extensively through Canada as a manufacturer representative for the Sporting Goods Industry. He relocated his family and moved to Alberta in 1981. Due to health reasons he changed careers and drove taxi (Associated Cabs) until his passing. He had a passion for country music and a good bottle of red wine. A Memorial Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, August llth, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Sympathies can be forwarded to the family at www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
