DUTKA, Donna May of Castor, AB, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, surrounded by her loving family at Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital, Castor, AB at the age of 66 years. Donna started out in the Peace Country of Alberta, traveling with husband and family to various destinations including the High Artic. Along the way she raised her family of four and kept very busy baking for everyone who came her way. Her grandchildren were top priority in her life and she loved to see and do things with them all of the time. She taught us all a lot and loved us unconditionally to the very end. Donna is survived by her loving husband Lawrence; mother Evelyn Van Natter; children Wendy (Ken) Stubbs, Susan (Renald) Grise, Gary Dutka and daughter-in-law Jennifer Muswagon; grandchildren Donna (Louis) Laurin, Brad Stubbs, Jade, Terrance, Andrea, Rene and Michlyn Grise, Greg and Willie Muswagon, Raini Dutka, Kyle, Kia-li, Andrew, Andrea and Elijah; great-grandchildren Cassidy and Megan Laurin. Donna is also survived by siblings Linda (Richard) Karlson and Mabel (Kevin) Sheedy. She was predeceased by her father Elwood Van Natter and son Terry Dutka. A Funeral Service was held in the Evangelical Missionary Church, Castor, AB on Tuesday, April 14th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Marty Hays officiating. Ken Stubbs gave a loving tribute to all those in attendance. Nadene Wideman and Ruth Hays gave a wonderful musical tribute to Donna's life. Donna was laid to rest in the Castor Cemetery with her son Terry. Family and friends gathered in the Fellowship Hall for a time of reflections and lunch by the Missionary Ladies.
