It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Donna Marie Meeres of Red Deer, Alberta announces her passing at the Centennial Centre, Ponoka on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the age of 75 years. Donna was born on September 17, 1947 in Calgary, Alberta to Kenneth and Esther Johnson.
Donna was a lover of family, friends, old cars and motorcycles.
Donna will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Diana (Blair) and Nadine (Darren); her grandchildren, Alexander, Alexis, Mackenzie, Paige, and Nevaeh; and her great grandchildren, Kale, McKenna and Rhett.
She will also be sadly missed by her siblings, Bob, Sandy and Brenda; her sister-in-law, Ann; and her special niece, Kim as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Donna was predeceased by her loving husband, Phil; her parents, Ken and Esther Johnson; her mother-in-law, Iris and her siblings, Cheryl and Ricky. T
he family would like to extend a special Thank You to Arnel and his staff of the Aurora House of Centennial Centre for the care, kindness and support over the last ten months.
A Private Family Graveside will be held at a later date.
