Donna Pimm January 30th, 1943 Donna Elaine Pimm of Bentley, AB. passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary on Saturday, May 9th 2009, at the tender age of 66. Donna was born in Eckville, AB. She lived on the family farm near Gimlet until she united in Marriage to Al Thompson and had two children. Survived by her Son Kirk Thompson and her Daughter Candi Thompson, also by her two Grandchildren Clinton and Kendra Thompson all of Calgary. Donna left behind two sisters, Dorothy Dahms, and Caroline Brown (Lloyd) both of Rimbey as well as numerous Aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Donna was predeceased by her parents Ted & Hattie Pimm as well as one brother Art Pimm. Donna was a wonderful Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of life was held at the Rimbey Legion, on May 14th, 2009. A special thanks to the Peter Lougheed staff for all of the care and effort put into the comfort of Donnas' last few days of life. Also thank you to Angie Metro for all of her strength and support, to Angela Brittain and The United Church Ladies for providing the lunch at the gathering, and thank you to all family and friends for your well wishes.
