In loving memory ~
Doreen Joan Beardsley passed away suddenly at the Ponoka General Hospital on 21 November, 2024.
Survived by loving husband of 67 years, John [Jack], children Robert (Tammi), Janice, Sandra (Duane), grandchildren Jordan (Jen), Zachary, Alliyah, Allecia, Ethan, and cousin Laurie Hurley (Keith).
Doreen was born in Charlottetown PEI in 1934, graduated as a teacher, taught school and eventually found employment at RCAF base Summerside PEI.
This is where she met her future husband, Jack, and started her career as a caring wife and mother who would stand by her husband through 35 years of military life, eventually retiring in Red Deer and later Ponoka.
