Doris ELIUK

ELIUK, Doris Doris Johanna Eliuk of Innisfail passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2005, one week after her 74th Birthday. Doris passed away peacefully as the result of complications due to Alzheimers. She was diagnosed August 1999 with this disease. Doris was born in Innisfail on January 11, 1931 to Chris and Mae Sigurdson of Markerville. Doris was a very loving and caring little lady. She was a woman of many talents and adored the west countryside and the mountains. She was an artist, soloist, great cook and enjoyed entertaining at her home. Mom saw only the best in difficult situations and excelled at everything she ever attempted. She was a meticulous dresser and strived to look her best at all times. She is loved by all who knew her and will be so sadly missed by the people who were fortunate to have her as a part of their lives. She is survived by daughter Susan Reynolds of Innisfail and son Sheldon (Kathy) Eliuk of Innisfail; sister Wilma Miller (Vern deceased), of Calgary; brothers Norman (Eila) Sigurdson of Baldur Manitoba, Frank (Ellen) Sigurdson of Markerville, and Elmer Sigurdson of Markerville. She adored her 5 grandchildren; Heidi Reynolds, Shane Reynolds, Kimberly Doris Reynolds, and Matt and Amber Eliuk. In two months, Doris would have been a great grandmother and was so excited for her granddaughter Heidi.
