KRAUSE Dorothy Jean Dorothy Jean Krause passed away peacefully at her residence on October 7, 2009 at the age of 90 after a full and long life. Dorothy was born in Lacombe on April 6, 1919 to Joseph and Cora Jameson the 6th of 8 children. Dorothy spent her childhood in Lacombe, moving to Red Deer, AB. when she married Fred W. Krause, December 31, 1938. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Shirley Simpson (Gary) of Victoria, sons Jim (Gail) of Red Deer and Doug (Marg) of Calgary. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren and her sister Marjorie Wiltshire of Calgary. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband (Fred), and her 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Many thanks to all the staff at her residence and in particular Marsha for all your kindness. A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Crossroads Church in Red Deer (west on 32nd Street off Highway #2) at 1:30 pm.
