McBRIDE
Douglas James McBride (Piesse) was born November 12, 1946 in Innisfail and entered into rest December 10, 2016 at the age of 70 years. Doug was passionate about anything with wheels! He could vividly recall each vehicle he had ever owned, or driven, including motor size. Doug also loved to spend time with family and friends, reminiscing over coffee. Doug is survived by his loving wife, Valerie; his son Robert (Terri) Baston; stepchildren Chris Schram and Carrie (Leonard) Bryden; grandchildren Shawn, Kaitlyn, Jacobi and Tayla, (and newly adopted grandson Brendon); siblings Bob (Kathleen) Piesse, Jean Tinordi, Pat (Larry) Rankin, Ed (Marydell) McBride, Margaret Anderson (Marcel), Terry (Shawna) McBride, sister-in-law Janice McBride as well as many nieces and nephews. Doug is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Ruby McBride, Robert Piesse; sister Shirley Inglis, brothers-in-law Dennis Inglis, Steve Tinordi; brothers David Allan Piesse, Bump McBride and sister in law Marilyn Piesse. Funeral services will be held on Friday December 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #104, Innisfail. Interment to follow at the Innisfail Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alberta Kidney Foundation.
