MARSHALL Douglas James Marshall passed away at the Innisfail Health Center on February 20, 2009 at the age of 77. He was born Nov. 30. 1931 at Castor, Ab. He is remembered by his first wife, Marge Marshall of Lacombe and their 6 children and families. Barb (Gord) Johnston of Calgary ,Taylor & Tyson; Brenda (Bill) Jackson of Lacombe, Kayla (Ross) & Ryan; Connie Johnson of Lacombe, Tanner & Dylan; Bob (Shelley) Marshall of Olds, Cory & Carley; Colleen (Boris) Velcic of Calgary; and Jackie Marshall of Linden. Doug's career was mostly in road construction and during his life he enjoyed curling, farm life, horses, country music, flying, chuckwagon races, cards, gardening and woodworking. Doug was predeceased by his parents, Ingleton (Slim) and Ethel; his sister, Dorothy; and brothers Gerald and Dale; second wife, Pat Marshall; and companion, Pat Miller. Special thanks to all the health care professionals and in particular those at Autumn Glen Lodge, Innisfail and special friend, Diane Phillips. Funeral service will be held from Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120, Hwy 2A, Lacombe Alberta on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 2:00pm.
