In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness that the family of Daryl announces his passing on Thursday, November 24, 2022. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lynn. They shared 54 years as best friends.
He leaves behind his loving children, Jodi (Dennis), Ryan (Jill); and cherished grandchildren, Kendra, Connor and Carson. He is survived by siblings, Cheryl (Bill), Jim (Phyllis), and Greg; brother in law Bruce (Sheri), Jim; and lots of nieces and nephews.
Daryl was a dentist for 55 years, first in the Canadian Armed Forces for 7 years, spending time at bases in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Nova Scotia. He then had a private practice for 48 years in Red Deer. Only last year did Daryl retire as he loved his work and was very dedicated to his staff & patients.
Daryl loved life to the fullest, golfing, skiing, biking, travelling and having good times with his friends and family. We all wanted to live in "Brownies World." He was always positive and strong, battling with cancer and heart disease for years.
Daryl never wanted the spotlight and so at his request, there will not be a service. If so inclined, donations may be made to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
