DRODER 1943 – 2009 Angela Marie Droder (nee Kearney) died suddenly but peacefully in her Red Deer home on Good Friday, April 10, 2009. Angela was born on August 15, 1943 in Newry, Co. Down, Northern Ireland; Angela immigrated to Canada to embark on a career in education that spanned over forty years and took her from Montreal to Alberta, and finally to Regina, Saskatchewan. She retired to Red Deer in 2002. Angela is survived by Henry Droder and her three children; Ryan, Danielle (Don Doucette) and her grandchild Arlo, and Stefanie (Aaron Cook) and grandchildren Fionntan, Piper, and Lochley. Brothers and sisters in Ireland and Canada are Vincent (deceased), Anthony, Brendan, Ursula, Ivor, Michael, Philomena, Paul and Patrick (deceased). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5508-48 A Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 11: 00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Angelas honor may be made directly to Hope Air, 4711 Yonge Street, Suite 703 Toronto, Ontario M2N 6K8 (www.hopeair.org).
