DURAND

April 13, 2006

DURAND TRAVIS CONNER DURAND May 25, 1999 - April 7, 2006 It is with the greatest sadness and sorrow the family announces the sudden passing of our young Travis. Travis loved to be around all people: his family, friends, and everyone who was captivated by his smile and outgoing nature. "Our bright little flame" had an amazing zest for life, whether he was cheering on his sister Cammi at the soccer field, or on the dock fishing with his brother Trent at Pine Lake. Every day brought a new adventure to Travis (and those around him!!) who could turn a routine activity into a special occasion. Whether he was playing cards, in the boat at Pine Lake, wearing his lifejacket or helmet (EVERYWHERE), "driving" the quads and sleds, watching hockey and waterskiing, being a valued member of the 18th Morrisroe Beavers, riding horses (or Rhino's), going to Applebee's, talking on the phone, or "playing" his GameBoy. Travis will be remembered fondly for his inquisitive nature, constantly questioning "WHY??" and infectious smile. He touched the hearts of everyone he met, (including strangers) and had a way of making others feel special. Travis leaves to mourn his loss: his mother Laurie, father Lyndon, Cindy and Chantelle, sister Cammi, and brother Trent. He will also be very sadly missed by Grandparents, Don and Lee Durand, Lloyd Meadows and Bonnie Stephenson, Judy Buchanan and Terry Thoms, his Auntie Pam Elford, Brody and Carter, Uncle Leon Durand, Joanne and Naomi, Auntie Laurie Mechefske, Carl, Curtis, Carla and Tom, uncle Layne Durand, Janice, Sydney and Savannah, Auntie Lana Stenhouse, Don, Sara and Cody, Auntie Carmen Beck, Warren, Dawson and Dalton, Uncle Colin Stephenson, Lena and Emma, Daryl Bramall, and family. A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 35, 2810 Bremner Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, AB.
