Earl Calvin Jackson born April 24, 1924 in Galahad, Ab. Peacefully passed away December 12, 2016 at Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital Castor, Ab. Earl grew up with five siblings. On March 21, 1945 Earl married Alvina Adams. They farmed in the Paintearth area eight miles South of Galahad, to which three sons, Warren, Russell and Dennis were born. Taking time to be with his family, Earl also loved to play ball, golf and curl. At family gatherings out came the instruments for some playing and singing. Earl had many friends and neighbors who he cherished and would lend a helping hand to at any given time. Dad was the most kind, gentle and generous man. He always had a good joke for you or like to tease you given the chance. Earl and Alvina retired to Castor. Prior to his passing he lived at the Paintearth Lodge. Earl is now with his loving Alvina, son and numerous family. Leaving to mourn are two sons, Warren (Lorraine) and Dennis (Debbie); nine grandchildren, Brianne (Lee) Bagshaw, Janna (Jassen Jackman) Jackson, Corey Jackson, Kurtis (Roseanna) Jackson, Kelsen (Scott) Monson, Michell (Chris) Rauckman, Ashley (Drew) Crosby, Rhonda (Adam) Fuller, Wanda Hansen; fourteen great grandchildren, Kennedy, Gracie, Drew Bagshaw, Charlotte Jackson, Colton Jackson, Grace Jackson, Caden, Madison, Gabriel Rauchman, Beckham Crosby, Ryder, Alex Fuller, Ashten Hansen, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. There is no service at this time. There will be a luncheon around spring time for everyone to come for coffee and reminisce. Donations may be made to the Paintearth Lodge.
