MATHIAS Edgar George Mathias passed away peacefully in Helensburgh, Scotland in early August at the age of 96. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothea, in 1993. He will be sadly missed by many lifelong friends and by his son, David, daughter Nicola, son-in-law Ian, and grandchildren Danielle, Tristan, Alex and Laurence. A fine gentleman and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who found "tongues in trees, books in the running brooks, sermons in stones, and good in everything" We miss you: Edgar Mathias, 1912-2008.
