EDGAR Aug. 12, 1928 - Jan. 20, 2008 John James "Jack" Edgar passed Peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital after a brief illness, although he struggled with Parkinson's Disease the last Eight years of his life. He leaves to mourn his wife of 50 years Dona; two sons Dean (Cindy) and Jason (Kim). He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Sally Edgar and by two sisters Margaret Houston and Helen Edgar. Jack came to Innisfail Alberta in 1962 where he established a flourishing Charter Accounting practice. Many of his clients became life long friends but he still retained strong ties with many dear friends in Calgary. A funeral service will be held at the Innisfail Alliance Church (#25 4804-42 Ave. Eastgate Centre) on Friday January 25, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Parkinson's Society of Southern Alberta. As a memorial tribute to John Edgar, a tree will be planted in the Tree Memorial Park (Innisfail) by HEARTLAND FUNERAL SERVICES LTD.
