CLARK

(Edna) Marion Clark won her battle with cancer on the morning of December 24, 2014. She never let it get her down and had little pain until the last few days. She faced it as she did most things with humour and grace. Heaven is a little brighter but our world a little dimmer. Her family, left to bear the loss, include her children, Robin Armitage (Murray Gommerud), Deana Clark (Brian Kolari), Larry Clark, Lorry Clark (Tim Visser), Lisa Jones, and Shauna Tangerman. Her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. She is also survived by one brother, Danny (Bernice) McRae, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as chosen daughter Lana and her son, Jeri. She was predeceased by her parents, Don and Ethel McRae, bothers, Howard and Dale and sister Ruth, sons-in-law Dwayne and Gary Gillies and Wally Jones, dearest friend and chosen sister, Myrt Siefert, and chosen sons Wes Emms and Ray Wallace. Marion was a talented seamstress and knitter used her beautiful hands not only for her family's benefit but she knit for the Christmas Bureau for years till her hands became warped into knitting shape and she needed to have surgery. Her gentle personality made her well liked by her employers (who often considered her family), bus drivers, Safeway clerks and all she touched. A celebration of her life will be held from 2 to 5 at Robin's home, 38 Roche St. on Wed. Dec. 31 from 2 to 5. We would love to share our memories. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CAWES or Red Deer Hospice.
