BLACKSTAFFE Edward (Ted) Dean April 7, 1952 – April 16, 2008 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ted Blackstaffe. Born and raised in Red Deer, Ted then moved to Calgary and Edmonton eventually settling in Beaumont. Ted leaves to mourn his devoted wife Cara Schelske; children Nadia, Isaac, Bronwyn, Alexander and Mitchell; mother Resa Blackstaffe; siblings Russell and his wife Joan, and Walter; all of the Schelske siblings and their families; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Jack Blackstaffe. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for the Staff of phenomenal Nurses and Doctors on Unit 43 at the Grey Nuns Hospital where Ted and his family was treated with the utmost care and respect. A special thank you to Leduc Home Care, Dr. Seikaly and Staff at the U of A Hospital.
