OLSON, Edward G. With heavy hearts, the family of Edward (Ed) Olson, announce his passing on February 22, 2006 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. Ed was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario on March 23, 1943 and was a past resident of LacLu and Kenora, Ontario. Predeceased by his parents, he leaves to mourn, his loving wife, Gayle; sister, Alma (Walter) McDowall, brother, John (Anne), very special aunt, Nell Bergvall, uncles, Victor Johnson and Edwin Johnson, sisters-in-law, Sheilagh (Ben) Lockert and Loretta (Hugh) Hermary, numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and many good friends. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Red Deer Cancer Clinic, c/o Red Deer Regional Hospital, PO Bag 5030, Red Deer, AB T4N 6R2, or to a charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated. A Memorial Service will be held at the Salvation Army Church, 4837 – 54th St., Red Deer, AB on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at 2:00 pm.
