Ted Shackel of Red Deer passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at the age of 67 years. Ted is lovingly remembered by his family, wife Linda of 41 years; children Tressa (Les), Edward (Natalie), Tammie (Ron); 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; six brothers and three sisters. A Celebration of Ted’s Life will be held at CUPE 417, Union Hall, 5116 – 47 Street, Red Deer on Sunday April 10, 2011 from 1 – 5pm. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 202 – 5913 – 50 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 4C4 or the Diabetes Association of Red Deer, 6, 5015 – 48 Street, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 1S9.
