Lewis Eldon Edwards of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Wednesday Dec 12, 2018 at the age of 88 years.

He was born and raised in the Red Deer area and attended Waskasoo School, Red Deer High School then U of C eventually getting his degree in education. He taught at Bowden Institution for 30 years before retiring. Lewis is lovingly remembered by his wife Eunice; daughters Marj (Ed); Marilyn (Greg) and son Ken (Deb); 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; his brothers Ivan and Allan (Marion).

He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Louisa; his first wife Dorothy; grandson Mark; brothers Bill, Jack, Murray and sister Verna Tomalty.

A celebration of Lewis' life will be held Monday 2:00 pm December 17, 2018 at Balmoral Bible Chapel, Red Deer, where he was a lifetime member.
