Eileen FOX

Eileen Fox was born in Innisfail January 29, 1924 and passed away April 12, 2018 in Fort Macleod, Ab.

She lived with her husband of 67 years farming in the Hillsdown District for 34 years before they moved into Red Deer. She lived there until she moved into the Pioneer Lodge in Fort Macleod in 2014 then to Extendicare where she lived until her passing at the age of 94.

Eileen was a very hard worker on the farm at the Red Deer Auction Mart and the Windsor Hotel for many years.

She was very active with the Red Deer Legion where she loved and competed in shuffle board, she traveled to many places winning trophies and medals.

She is survived by her children Sherry (Jack) of Spruce Grove, George (Gwen) of Fort Macleod, Daughter in Law Donna of Sylvan Lake, Sandy (Tony) of Raymond and Daryl (Donna) of Edmonton. Sister Olive Harris and Sister in Law Ada Fox. She is also survived by 26 grand children, 26 great grand children and 13 great great grand children. She was predeceased by her husband Walter, 3 sons Gary, Lawrence and Dwayne, 2 great grand sons Tim and Morgan and 1 great grand son Isaiah, het parents Bill and Nina Thurston, step father Joe Ruffet 2 bothers and 3 sisters.

A memorial service will take place 1pm, June 16, 2018 at the Royal Canadian Legion 2810 Bremner Ave Red Deer Ab. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's society.
