Mrs. Eileen Mary Franchuk of Red Deer, Alberta passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the age of 82 years. Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her son, Trevor Franchuk of Red Deer, Alberta; her daughter-in-law, Jane, and her step granddaughter, Jessica, both of Nigeria. Eileen was predeceased by her husbands, John Franchuk (1977) and Marshal Babiuk (1992); a son, Randall Franchuk (2018); a daughter-in-law, Suzanne (2008); her parents and a brother.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m with The Reverend Father Mirek Kostarzewski Celebrant. Interment will be held at the Red Deer Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta. If desired, in place of flowers, Eileen's only wish was that just a word or act of kindness be shown towards someone. If desired, Memorial Donations in Eileen's honor may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society at www.cancer.ca.
