EISENHAWER

August 21, 2009

EISENHAWER It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother and Omie Ilse Eisenhawer. Our heavenly Father called her home on Tuesday, August 18th, 2009 at the Red Deer Hospice at the age of 73 years. Ilse is lovingly remembered and will be greatly missed by her daughter Angela (Rich) Stonehouse, her son David (Krista) Eisenhawer; five grandchildren, Michael and Amanda Stonehouse; and Emily, Kate and Abbie Eisenhawer all of Red Deer. She is also survived by a brother-in-law Dieter Eisenhawer of Victoria, BC; a sister-in-law, Miriam Eisenhawer of Florida; three nephews and two nieces and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Ulrich Eisenhawer and her parents. A long time Red Deer resident, Ilse worked for several years at City Hall. She loved to meet new people, and spent many hours volunteering for different organizations. Ilse and Ulli spent much of their retirement travelling, making new friends wherever they went and cherished long time friendships here at home. Our "Omie" always put her family first and took great care of all of us. Funeral Services for the late Ilse Eisenhawer will be held at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 18 Selkirk Blvd., Red Deer on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Don Hennig officiating.
