Elaine Graf (née Cozma and Daradich) passed away peacefully at Villa Marie Covenant Care, Red Deer on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the age of 80 years. Elaine was born on January 22, 1940 at Kayville, Saskatchewan.
She was a caring wife who supported her husband, Al on their many adventures over the years - early days in the US, followed by a life of new business ventures and new homes in Western Canada.
She was a friend to many, and her caring heart touched everyone she met, even at her last home in Villa Marie, where her kindness continued to shine. Elaine will be remembered by her family for her enduring strength, compassion and caring for others.
Among many talents, she also had a love for cooking and gardening that made each house a special home. She also had many jobs over the years, starting with training as a secretary, then years as a nurse's assistant and care worker and even time as a taxi driver!
Elaine was predeceased by her father and mother, Fritz and Ann (Morse); and her siblings, Lena, John, Nick, Pete and Daniel.
Elaine is survived by her husband, of fifty-eight years, Alfred; her children, Brenda of Red Deer, Paul (Candice) of Clive and Troy (Cindi) of Edmonton; her brother, George Cozma of Regina and her sister, Mary Kozack of Arnprior, Ontario; her grandchildren, Brandon Graf (Whitney), Ashley Den Oudsten (Aaron), Emma Gardner, Hannah Graf, Morgan Graf (Sheldon), Taylor Graf; and her great grandchildren, Adeline, Everly and Jacob.
