MALSBURY
Elaine Wainwright Malsbury of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Hospital May 30, 2012. She was born to Thomas and Sarah Moore in Calgary, Alberta on July 14, 1928. Elaine was raised by her mother Sarah and Step-father Leslie Chadwick in the Willowdale District. She married the love of her life James Malsbury on March 5, 1947. They raised three wonderful daughters Carol, Peggy and Penny in the Edwell District. Her life was her family and keeping them together. She enjoyed gardening and loved her flowers and her little jenny wren that came back every spring. Predeceased by her parents; husband James; son-in-law Ralph Averill; brother George Chadwick; sister Jean Faszer; Step-sister and brother Nellie Wilson and Arthur Chadwick. She is survived by her daughters: Carol (Hugh) Picketts - Patty, Tammy, Todd; Peggy Averill - Tana, Trent; Penny (Robert) McIntyre - Nicole, Miranda, Jayden; eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; nine step great-grandchildren, six step great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws Mary Chadwick and Iona Malsbury; step sister Hanna Oldford; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service will be held at the Pine Lake Hub, Pine Lake, Alta on June 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial tributes may be made directly to the Salvation Army, S.T.A.R.S. Air Ambulance or charity of choice.
