JACKSON Eleanor Irene Jackson passed away at the Lacombe Community Health Care Center on April 1, 2009 at the age of 86 years. Eleanor was born in Edmonton, Alberta on September 29, 1922. She is survived by Victor (Bill), her loving husband of 69 years, five children; Dorothy and Dianne of Red Deer, Bob (Alpha) of Ponoka, Doug of Dawson City, Yukon, and Neil (Heather) of Lacombe, 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Eleanor loved gardening, reading and travelling to see other countries. Her greatest joy were her children. She is loved and will be missed. We know we will be together again one day. Funeral services will be held from Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe, AB on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery Lacombe, AB.
