ROSS Elizabeth “Betty†Ross of Red Deer passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at the age of 79 years. Betty was born in Aberdeen Scotland on August 26, 1926. She married Ewan “Scotty†Ross in 1945 and they were married for 60 years. After retiring in 1989, Betty spent a lot of time volunteering at the Women’s Shelter and at the Red Deer Clothing Bank right up until her passing. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Scotty, one son, Ralph (Mary-Ellen) of Sylvan Lake, two granddaughters; Jennifer (Stacey) Eresman and Carla (Andy) Beres as well as two great grandchildren; Emily and Sam. She is also survived by three step grandchildren; Stephanie (Leo) Silviera, Stacey Nichols (Doug), Steven Heid (Charman) and four step great grandchildren; Tyson, Adam, Kennedy and Ryder.
