Elizabeth WATSON

WATSON Elizabeth Symington Watson Elizabeth was born in Denbeath, Scotland on February 22, 1912 and passed away suddenly on April 8, 2007. Left to mourn her passing are her son John and daughter-in-law, Irene of Strathmore, Alberta; her seven grandchildren, Terry (Sandy) Watson of Boswell, B.C., Robert (Teresa) Watson of Calgary, Carol Clarkson of Red Deer, Bryon (Debbie) Watson of Drayton Valley, Carol (Dave) Light of Vernon, B.C., Cindy (Jack) Sweere, and Brenda Boehk, both of Strathmore, Alberta. She has also left behind 14 great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Our family would like to thank the Senior Citizen's Lodge in Lacombe for the many years of care and happiness that she received while living there. Terry, Mark, and their staff were so good to her and treated her like family. Also to Barbara Flewelling, we extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to you for watching over Grandma and helping her the way you did, you are a true angel. We would also like to thank the Bethany Care Staff for the care, support and comfort that you gave to Gram while she was there. Even though she was only with you for a short while, you welcomed her with open arms and your kindness and care will never be forgotten. Funeral Services will be held from St. Andrew's United Church, 5226-51 Avenue, Lacombe, Alberta on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Lacombe Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Senior Citizen's Lodge in Lacombe, Bethany College Side in Red Deer, or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
