1934 – 2015

Survived by her sister Lillian Fuhrer, Ella went to be with her Lord and Savior. Ella loved the outdoors, being active most of her life included: brisk walks, keep fit classes, swimming and skiing. Reading and scrapbooking as well as travelling and photography were on her agenda. Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, travelling some back roads of Alberta and B.C. is as far as her wander lust took her. For these and other pursuits reflect her strength and passion for life, which she will be remembered for. This also showed how important it is to be indepen-dent in life. In her later years owning a black labrador retriever, gave her the utmost joy, as her love of all animals knew no bounds. She took great pleasure in feeding and watching nuthatches, chick-adees, blue jays and squirrels in her back yard. She was devoted to them, put out feed on the coldest of days. A special thank you to Unit 32 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, for the care that they provided to Ella.
