Ellamae CALDWELL

CALDWELL Ellamae Caldwell passed away in her sleep at the West Park Lodge, November 15, at the age of 72. She was born Ellamae Deloise Weiss in Trochu, Alberta August 20, 1933. She is survived by her mother Emma, two sons, Dana and Dirk, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was an only child. Ellamae grew up and went to school in Delburne. She left home at 18 and went to work at Frank's Cafe in Waterton Park. That's where she met her husband John. They were married in 1952 and were together until Johnny died in 1986. During those years they lived in many towns in B.C. and Alberta, and finally returned to the Red Deer area in 1969. Ellie worked at Kipp Scott Pontiac for many years before she retired. She spent the last years of her life living quietly at her home in Parkvale. Friends will gather to remember her at the Pioneer Lodge, Sunday November 20 at 2 p.m. (4324 44 St. Red Deer)
