It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Miss Ellen Gant at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the age of 91 years. She was born on the family farm west of Gilby; the youngest daughter of Marlee and Susan Gant. Ellen will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Glen Gant of Kelowna, British Columbia, as well as nurmerous nieces and nephews. Ellen was predeceased by her parents, brothers, Martin, Jesse and Eugene Gant and sisters, Mary Whillier, Gertrude Moore and Lorena Drumond. We would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Unit 22 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. Respecting Ellen's wishes, no formal service will be held. A Family Graveside Service will take place at the Gilby-Kalmu Cemetery, Gilby, Alberta, at a later date. Arrangements in care of
