Elona went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus, on Dec. 28th, 2020 at the tender age of 73 in Red Deer.
Born in Bremen, Germany Elona leaves behind her only child Hal, daughter in law Julie and grandchildren Matthew and Karyssa.
She also leaves behind her sister Sylvia, brother in law Peter, sister Angela and brother in law Boyd and her brother Peter.
She is predeceased by her father Fred and mother Lilo.
Elona loved animals, fishing and playing crib while listening to ABBA or Elvis. In her younger years she was an avid hiker with the Prairie Mountaineer Hikers and worked as an insurance agent.
There will be a celebration of life service, with immediate family, for Elona later this summer at Forget Me Not Pond which was one of her favourite hiking spots.
