ELOPRE May 19, 1938 – Feb.18, 2008 Felix Pacamara Elopre of Red Deer died peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on February 18, 2008 at the age of 69 years. Felix was born on May 19, 1938 in Camarines Sur, Philippines. He was predeceased by his wife, Amparo, two children; Josefina and Felix Jr. and one sister, Felomina. He is survived by five children; Jocelyn (Gene) of Red Deer, Jimmy (Elsa) of Red Deer, Julie (Mhar) of Red Deer, Jerry (Linda) of Red Deer and Jayrold (Virginia) of Philippines. Felix and his wife were blessed with twenty-one grandchildren; Genny, MJ, CJ, Izza, Amik, MJ, Marjorie, Kim, RJ, Debbie, Jayvee, Jayzel, Epoy, Aba, Jan-Jan, Jessa, Che-Che, Cathee, Tin-Tin, Cindy and Czarina and four great grandchildren; Rochelle, Erine Cate, KC and Baby. Felix was a farmer in the Philippines. He was a hardworking man and raised his children to schooling with Degree Holders in the Philippines. He always emphasized to his children the value of good moral character and the importance of education. He was a devoted Catholic and was a long-time member of the Disciples of Christ during the Traditional Celebration of Holy Week in the Philippines. He possessed a great passion and love for music and was a good dancer. He was an outgoing person, loved being around people. He will be lovingly remembered but sadly missed for his friendliness, kindness, warmth and the smiles that he carried all the time that touched the hearts of his family, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Moffat, Dr. Graham, all the staff of Unit 31 and 32, especially Wade, as well as the Cancer Clinic Staff, for their wonderful care. A public viewing time will take place at the Red Deer Funeral Home (6150 - 67 Street) on Friday, February 22, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A Prayer Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Church (6 McMillan Ave) on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Paul Kavanagh Celebrant.
