Elsie Bec of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully at Bethany CollegeSide, Red Deer on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the age of 89 years.
Elsie will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her six daughters: Dar (Doug) Hollman of Red Deer; Lill (Paul) Kent of Red Deer; Marie (Miles) Hills of Lacombe; Lorraine (Grant) Moberg of Red Deer; Diane Paquette also of Red Deer; and Eunice (Jamie) Foster of Coquitlam, B.C.; as well as many special grandchildren, great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, Phillis Bec of Saskatchewan; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and close friends. Elsie was predeceased by her loving husband, Louis; her grandson, Clayton; and her parents, John and Marie Zaleschuk.
The Bec Family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful caregivers at Bethany CollegeSide. The kind and compassionate care of Elsie these last few months will always be remembered.
Service details will be announced at a later date when a Funeral Mass can be celebrated at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Red Deer. Elsie will be laid to rest in the Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Red Deer. Condolence messages may be forwarded to the family by visiting: www.ofc-ltd.ca
