Elsie Sophia
(nee Wildeman) 1916 - 2015
Passed away peacefully on April 21, 2015 at the age of 98 at Bethany College side Red Deer with her three daughters Barbara Parsons of Red Deer, Gloria Michayluk of Saskatoon SK and Sharon Sadick of Brandon MB at her side. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Alfred, her son Larry, her parents and eight brothers and sisters. Besides her three daughters, Elsie is survived by one sister Esther Kleckner of Medicine Hat AB, a special daughter-in-law Wendy Greber of Red Deer, numerous grand, great-grand and great great-grand children from Ontario to BC. She was an inspiration to all who knew her, extremely talented in needlework, baking and other skills. She kept journals throughout her lifetime creating a memorable legacy for her family. The family would also like to recognize the special care mom (Elsie) received from the caring compassionate staff at the Centennial Center in Ponoka AB for 6 years and her brief stay at Bethany College side. A graveside service will be held at a later date with grandson Pastor Dallas Michayluk conducting. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Red Deer Hospital would be appreciated.
