LAYDEN, Enid Jean
Enid Jean Layden (Bice), 93, left us peacefully on July 19th, 2017, in Salmon Arm, BC.
Born on Jan. 7th, 1924, Jean spent the early part of her life in Central Alberta, marrying Gerald Layden in 1948 and moving their young family to Kelowna, BC in 1955. They then moved to Salmon Arm, BC in 1970, where she lived until her passing.
Jean is predeceased by Gerald, her husband of 50 years, and her grandson, Ryley Irwin.
She is survived by her children, Garnett Layden, Larry Layden, Donna (Jack) Irwin, Dianne (Jeff Zupanzic) Layden, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her family, friends, and so many others who she has touched with her laugh, her kindness and her love.
