HERZOG, Ernest Edwin (Ernie) Sept.16, 1932 - Mar. 19, 2009 With deep regret we announce the passing of Ernie Herzog, who leaves to mourn; his wife Bea and 5 step children; his son Robert Ernest and daughter Rosetta Lee Lutz of Saskatoon, SK, sisters: Reta (Walter) Stauffer, Sheila Bent of Edmonton, AB and Joan Willey of Sicamous, BC; brother Wilfred (Shirley) of Victoria, BC, also aunts, uncles, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Ernie was known for his sense of humour, his storytelling and his willingness to help others. Ernie's early working life was spent on the road driving heavy hauler and transport trucks. He had a passion and real love for ranching, rodeos and horses with a keen background in agriculture he worked for the BC Government Ranches. Hunting and fishing were his favourite pastimes after retirement. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 11, 2009 in Sicmous, BC at the Red Barn, 1226 Riverside Ave.from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
