Ethel Adene

Mrs. Ethel Konschuh of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the age of 95. Ethel was born in Calgary on October 27, 1915 to Dunham and Emma James. Ethel is survived by her sister, Lois Sexton; numerous nieces and nephews as well as her special friend Dorothy (Ken) Eggins. Ethel was raised in Calgary and attended Normal School in 1935. She spent the majority of her teaching career in Westcott and Didsbury. Ethel retired in 1977 and moved to Kelowna. After Allan's passing in 1997 Ethel moved to Red Deer to be closer to family. Ethel was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Allan Konschuh, her parents, sisters Jennette Lunt, Edie English, Teale Togstad, brothers Buster, Bill, Gordie, Charlie and her first husband Mac Trussler. A memorial service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 8 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ethel's honor may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 202 - 5913 - 50 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 4C4.
