In Loving Memory ~
It's with great sadness we, Bill and Cheryl Waldo of Blackfalds, AB, and family share the news of the passing of our eldest child, Ethel "Lisa" Ann (waldo) Blankenship. She left the world quietly in the night on January 29, 2024 from her home in Arizona that she shared with the love of her life, Jeffrey Blankenship and her beloved dog, Jethro.
Her sister, Julie Waldo Clark (Steve) of Joffre, AB and brother Billy Joe Waldo (Crystal) of Sherwood Park, AB will keep her with us through many wonderful memories of their childhood.
The warmth of family will hopefully ease the pain for her children, Lacy Dunne (John) of Calgary and Dylan Marshall (Sam) of Blackfalds, AB. Their mother loved them both with all her heart. Lisa was proud of her children and all they have accomplished.
We are So thankful that Lisa and Jeff were home for Christmas to spend time with family and friends. Her greatest joy was meeting her new granddaughter, Dylan and Sam's baby girl, Ashlyn and all the cuddles with her first grand daughter Haley.
Lisa is also survived by her only grandson, Coen Marshall of Red Deer, AB. She loved you all very much. Her many cousins, Uncles, Aunts, extended family and friends were always an important part of her life.
Thanks for what each and every one of you added to her life, both here and in the USA. Our time together, and memories, of Lisa will be forever cherished.
