BARRITT Eugene Roper Feb. 14, 1917 - Dec. 20, 2007 On December 20, 2007, Mr. Eugene Roper Barritt of Edmonton passed away at the age of 90. He is survived by Brenda (David) Niven of St. Albert, three very favorite grandchildren, Eric and Tracy of Edmonton and Claire (Paul) Langille of Kamloops. He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian on December 26, 2006 and an infant daughter in childbirth. Eugene was born at Mirror, Alberta where he farmed until he joined the R.C.A.F. in 1941. After serving as a navigator with the R.A.F. Bomber Command, he joined the Veterans Land Administration eventually retiring in Saskatoon as the Regional Director, Prairie Region in 1976. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
