1921 – 2009
It is with bittersweet grief that we announce the passing of Eunice Congo (nee Conrad) in Red Deer Saturday, October 31, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Eunice was born in Three Hills, AB. Eunice was predeceased by her parents and three brothers. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband of almost 66 years, George. She is survived by her brother, George Conrad and her six loving children; sons and their spouses: Lyle (Sherrie), Merle (Diane), Curtis (Joanne); daughters and their spouses: Arliss Fallon (Dale), Debra Oleksow (Terry) and LaDonna Schneider (Dennis). Eunice was a loving grandmother to 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Eunice lived full and wonderful 88 years filled with love and laughter. A celebration of her life will be at Cross Roads Church, 38105 Rge Rd 275, Red Deer County, AB, at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Eunice was known for her godly walk and love for her Savior. The family wishes to thank the staff of Palliative Care Unit 32 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital and Dr. Johann Viljoen for their gentle and loving care.
