WILEY Everett Raymond Wiley, beloved husband of 63 years to Jean Wiley, passed away peacefully at the Valley Park Nursing Home, Red Deer on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at the age of 86 years. Everett was born on the family farm in Lanfine, Alberta on September 15, 1922. He moved to Calgary after attending college in Camrose and met the love of his life Jean at the Garbitt Business School. They lived in Calgary until moving to Lethbridge where they raised their family. After retiring from the Royal Trust Co., where Everett worked for 31 years, they returned to Calgary and finally in the last years moving to Red Deer. He enjoyed carpentry work and was especially good at repairing things. He had a love for animals and particularly in the end took great joy in the company of a little dog named Bubbles. Everett will be sadly missed by his loving wife Jean, his two daughters, Heather (Mike) Pietramala, Diane (John) Mulgrew, his sister, Marjorie (Stan) Overby, the grandchildren, Tamara Pietramala, Tara (Steve) Osterlund, Patrick and Melanie Mulgrew, two great-grand children, Nicholas and Vaughn.
