It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Everett William *Corey* Carlson on Oct. 24, 2014. He was the loving husband of Carol and an amazing father to Cayne and Carter. Corey was a wonderful son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend, coach, and co-worker. He is also survived by his mother, Linda Carlson, his brother Dean (Margaret), sister Roben (Cameron), mother-in-law Karen Brebant, brother-in-law Freddie (Lori), sister-in-law Kendra Brebant, grandmother Marie Palen and all of his nieces and nephews who were all important to him, Jordan, Taylor, Tanner, Hayley, Latisha, Jared, Chase, Gage, Josh, Presley (Goddaughter), Jake-Cash and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Corey was predeceased by his father Reg in Feb. 2012 and his father-in-law Fred in Oct. 2014. Anyone who knew Corey knows how much family meant to him. His smile and his laughter lit up many peoples lives. He loved life.

Funeral service to be held at the McMurray Gospel Assembly, 10110 Main Street, Fort McMurray, AB. on Thursday Oct. 30, 2014. Viewing beginning at 10:00 am. until 3:00 pm., service starting at 3:30 with lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kids Forever or The Heart and Lung Association.
