FAWCETT 1940- 2007 Mr. Melbourne Edward "Mel" Fawcett, beloved husband of Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Aubuchon-Fawcett of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at the age 67 due to complications from a heart attack. Mel is survived by three daughters, Melanie Wright (Terry), Angela Fawcett (Greg), Liza Fawcett, two step-daughters Sherry and Aura Lee (Mike), three brothers Frank (Mary), Joe (Jackie) and Calvin (Susan), three sisters Elva (Ken), Joyce (Keith) and Francis (Tom), eighteen grandchildren, one great grandson, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as numerous friends including his dear friends Al, Art, Slavco and his good talking buddy (and nephew) Tim. He was predeceased by his mother and father Mary and Mel Fawcett and one sister Opal. Mel's brother Joe will be returning to Ontario with the ashes so that he may be laid to rest with his beloved mother.
