May 14, 1949 - July 25, 2014
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our sister and aunt Fern Lindblad on July 25, 2014 at the age of 65 years. Fern is lovingly remembered by her siblings Heather Lindblad, Carol Nielsen and John (Marie) Lindblad, niece and nephews Sharon (Darrin) Kolibar, Garry Nielsen, Stephen Snider and Robbie Snider, great niece and nephews Amanda (Chris) Schiaroli, Brady Kolibar, Justin Nielsen and Zachary Nielsen and great-great nephews Cole Schiaroli and Adam Schiaroli. She was predeceased by her sister Lyla Fletcher and parents Ethel and Leif Lindblad. The family would like to thank the staff of the Malmo Ward at the Centennial Centre and Rimokas Lodge, Ponoka, AB for their care and compassion for Fern. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 pm on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the Centennial Centre Hospital Chapel. Fern, your caring ways, laugh and beautiful smile will always be missed. May you rest in peace.
